Open The Door To New Spaces: A Bit Of Paint Makes An Impact

I'm always amazed at the impact a fresh coat of paint can have on a space.
For example, when my wife and I moved into our house, one of the first things we did was paint some of the main floor doors.
The house was built in the mid-1970s and most of the spaces have barely been updated since, including the doors.
We are planning on eventually tackling the main floor with more changes and updates, but we're busy with other higher priority projects. But what could we do to the main floor that was quick, but still impactful? Paint the doors.
With a few coats of white paint, we were able to brighten up the space from the original dark orange-brown colour that the doors and their trim had.
It's not a complicated project, but it is a good one for brightening up a space quickly and fairly cheaply (mostly depends on the type of paint you buy).
Not much else to say on this one, just that it's effective.
